The Hanover-Horton won its first district game in 6 years on Wednesday in dramatic fashion defeating a tough Bronson squad 2-1 in a shootout!  The score was tied 1-1 at the conclusion of regulation, and remained tied 1-1 through two 10 minute overtime periods.  After all of that, it came down to the most exciting type of ending in sports–the shootout!  Each team picked five girls to shoot at the other teams’ keeper. Vivian Foote saved all 4 of the shots taken by the Vikings, while Trinity Creery, Kenadee Bugbee and Nora Lewis each made their shots count, helping the Comets to a BIG victory.  The team will travel to Schoolcraft next Tuesday for the district semifinals starting at 5:00.  Great job ladies!
