The Hanover-Horton Comets Girls Track & Field team delivered an outstanding performance in their dual meet against the Addison Panthers, finishing with a commanding score of HH 103 – Addison 21.

Field Events:

Shot Put: Bella qualified for the Mega Meet with a throw of 32'5", while Harlow took 2nd and Hadley 3rd.

High Jump: Lilah secured 1st place and Taylor grabbed 3rd.

Long Jump: Maddox earned 1st place and Taylor followed with 2nd.

Track Events:

4x800 Relay: The team of Collins, Evelyn, Lauren, and Emery took 1st place.

70m Dash: Aubrey placed 3rd.

100m Dash: Maddox finished 1st and Madilyn came in 3rd.

200m Dash: Taylor secured 1st and Collins 2nd.

400m Dash: Ellie placed 1st, followed by Kenadee in 2nd.

800m Run: Ellie again took 1st, with Lauren right behind in 2nd.

Mile: Emery earned 1st, and Evelyn took 2nd.

2-Mile: Ellie dominated with another 1st place finish.

55m Hurdles: Braelynn finished 1st and Jordyn 2nd.

200m Hurdles: Braelynn again took 1st, with Madilyn finishing 3rd.

Relays:

4x100 Relay: Team of Jaila, Madilyn, Harper, and Lilah placed 1st; Harlow, Lauren, Bella, and Aubrey took 2nd.

4x200 Relay: Braelynn, Taylor, Jaila, and Maddox grabbed 1st.

4x400 Relay: Lilah, Collins, Emery, and Kenadee closed out the meet strong.

It was a tremendous all-around effort by the Comets!
