Last night the Hanover-Horton Middle School Boys Track team competed at home against Addison in our last conference meet of the year. Also Lumen Christi was there. We defeated Addison 102 to 30, finishing 4-1 in the Cascade Conference West.

 

In field events Jurasek took 2nd in Long Jump, Buckingham finished 1st in Pole Vault, and Henry and Mault went 1st and 3rd in Shot Put.

 

For running events Poegel was 2nd in the 55m Hurdles, Hamisfar was 2nd in the 100m, and Marshal was 1st in the 1600m. Swihart finished 1st in the 400m, Hamisfar was 3rd in the 70m, Jurasek and Marshall went 1st and 2nd in the 800m, and Johnson was 3rd in the 200m. Poegel finished 2nd in the 200m Hurdles,  Jakubas was 2nd in the 3200m, and the relay team of Johnson, Marshall, Jurasek and Swihart won the 4x400m Relay.

 

It was a great day with fast competition. Our next meet in Monday, May 12th at Leslie.
