The Hanover-Horton Girls Middle School Track and Field team delivered a dominant performance, defeating Columbia Central 79 to 48.

Highlights of the Meet:

4x800 Relay: Collins, Emery, Lauren, and Ellie secured first place.

55m Hurdles: Braelynn and Taylor finished 2nd.

4x200 Relay: Aubrey, Harper, Kenadee, and Taylor earned 2nd place.

1600m (Mile): Emery and Evelyn placed 2nd and 3rd.

4x100 Relay: Madilyn, Aubrey, Braelynn, and Jordyn came in 2nd.

400m Dash: Kenadee took 3rd.

70m Dash: Maddox grabbed 2nd.

800m Run: A clean sweep with Ellie, Collins, and Lauren taking 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.

200m Hurdles: Braelynn and Jordyn placed 1st and 2nd.

200m Dash: Aubrey and Evelyn finished 2nd and 3rd.

2-Mile Run: Ellie claimed 1st place.

4x400 Relay: Lilah, Emery, Evelyn, and Kenadee took 2nd.

Field Events:

Shot Put: Bella secured 1st place.

High Jump: Jordyn claimed the top spot.

Long Jump: A sweep with Taylor, Maddox, and Collins finishing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.

The team heads to the Grass Lake Relays tomorrow and looks to continue their momentum upward and onward!
